Slovak Sinfonietta & Clarinetist Kornel Wolak
gave PWYC Concert at THE PHOENIX, MONDAY, MAY 10
Mozart and Weber came to Toronto's Phoenix Concert Theatre May 10 with clarinetist Kornel Wolak and the Slovak Sinfonietta of Zilina conducted by Kerry Stratton.
The Pay What You Can concert was presented by International Touring Productions and attended by an audience including those who frequent the rock venue as well as patrons who experienced their first concert there. Both the audience and the players had a great time, and future classical concerts in the venue are being planned.

Member of Quartetto Gelato, internationally renowned Canadian chamber music group. Eclectic repertoire and genres. The quartet has toured extensively throughout North and South America, Europe, and Asia.

Kurpinski’s Clarinet Concerto with Poznan Philharmonic Orchestra under Maestro Lukasz Borowicz, performed at the inauguration of Jozef Zeidler Festival of Sacred Music “Sacromontana” in Swieta Gora and in Warsaw at the Witold Lutosławski Concert Studio of the Polish Radio.
